ΥΠΟΘΕΣΗ

Two sisters, Christina and Noni, live in a small house on the top of a hill. Suddenly  one night  they find 2 gifts left by an unknown person in their house. That night their unborn brother visits them and that visit means the beginning of a great adventure for the two sisters. The little unborn brother, lives in the “Other Land” where the music has charmed it. In order to liberate him from the “Other Land” the two sisters have to travel far away, over the old windmill .. That’s a dangerous trip until they reach the leafy forest. There, behind a closed door, lies the “Other Land”. But whoever passes through that door looses a bit of his memory…

Will the Witch and the Fairy help the two sisters to find their unborn brother?

What will happen to Noni when she gets lost all alone in the scary woods?

Finally will the two sisters achieve to liberate their little brother so that he will come and live with them?

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE PLAY

The show “Methavrio” is a professional production, based on the homonymous fairy tale from the Netherlands. Although it applies mainly to children, it will be a pleasant experience for people of all ages and of course for those who don’t forget the child inside, and also for those who would like to recall attending reality with pure and curious eyes of  the soul of a child, who lusts for life.

“Methavrio” is about the relationship between two sisters as this is spotted through the play:

The love that has one for another, the big wish for communication and play, but also darker emotions that come on the surface such as irritation, anger, stiffness even though momentary “hate”.

At the same time the difference of their roles is separated, the older and the younger, formerly bringing about discomfort and confrontation, or bringing balance even momentarily change to their own roles. So the relationship of the two girls, denuded by social charters and “musts” reflects any dyadic relationship, beside the mark of sex or age.

The action of the play can be adapted in every place and is designed for theatrical stages, outdoor and small places ( in schools for examples).
